Premio Iberoamericano 2022

On May 12, 2022, prizes were awarded to the participants of the 27th edition of the prestigious Premio Iberoamericano (Iberoamerican Prize) competition for university students. The competition for the best student work with a Latin American or Iberian connection is traditionally held under the auspices of the Embassies of Latin America and Spain. 17 students from universities in the Czech Republic, among them Matěj Hulička, a student of the 2nd semester of International Studies and Diplomacy, FMV VŠE. Matěj submitted a thesis entitled “La victoria electoral de Gabriel Boric: un pingüino en el trono imaginario de la democracia chilena” and although he was not among the main prize winners, he gave a great performance for a 1st year student. He deserves our great congratulations and thanks for his excellent representation of the school.

In addition to the ambassadors, the award ceremony in the Karolina Patriotic Hall was also attended by the Rector of Charles University, Prof. Milena Králíčková, and the Deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Prof. Jaroslav Miller.

We invite students to participate in the next edition, the theme of the competition will be announced in autumn 2022.
