Courses for Foreign Students
It is possible to attend French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese courses at the Department of Romance Languages. There are courses that are designed exclusively for foreign students and are taught in English, and then we have courses for all students of University of Economics, which are usually taught in that language. Language Certificates
Besides the study in common courses we have a wide variety of language certificates. The departement Department of Romance Languages is the only authoritized examining place for international exams Certificate of Madrid Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic and is also offering a chance of obtaining language diplomas Spanish for Business/Spanish for Tourism (B2, C1, C2). In addition to other spanish exams, held by KRoJ in collaboration with Instituto Cervantes de Praga, is DELE. Besides that Department of Romance Languages provides a preparation for French exams Paris Chamber of Commerc: DFP Tourism/Hospitality/Catering – Business – International Relations. Special Events in our Department
At the Department of Romance Languages, we regularly organize events for students of University of Economics and colleagues from the ranks of teachers. These are various events, such as lectures by representatives of countries where some of the Romance languages are spoken, professional academic and student conferences or meetings with representatives of major companies or institutions.
Four Romance languages are taught at the Department: French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese at all levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The courses focus on general and professional language in the fields of economics, business, international relations, diplomacy, tourism and socio-cultural realities of the Romance-speaking world.
Besides the study in common courses we have a wide variety of language certificates: Certificate of Madrid Chamber of Commerce offering a chance of obtaining language diplomas Spanish for Business/Spanish for Tourism (B2, C1, C2), DELE (Diploma del Espaňol como Lengua Extranjera); for French we offer exams of Paris Chamber of Commerc: DFP Tourism/Hospitality/Catering – Business – International Relations (for more information about the exams and preparation curses look below the link International Language Certificates – French and Spanish).
