Guide for Courses

It is possible to attend French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese courses at the Department of Romance Languages. There are courses that are designed exclusively for foreign students and are taught in English, and then we have courses for all students of University of Economics, which are usually taught in that language. You can find a list of individual courses under the links Courses for Foreign Students in English and General list of courses taught in Romance language

French courses: from the winter semester of the academic year 2022/2023, only 2RO121 and 2RO122 will be opened as special courses in English for foreign students. From 2RO103 onwards, French courses will be open to all students without distinction and taught in the target language (French). Foreign language students who are starting with French from the A0 level will therefore follow this study trajectory : 2RO121 – 2RO122 – 2RO103 – 2RO104 – 2RO105 – 2RO106.

Spanish courses: from the winter semester of the academic year 2023/2024, the 2RO181 course will be opened in English (and possibly also the course 2RO182, depending on the number of applicants). From 2RO163 onwards, Spanish courses will be open to all students without distinction and taught in the target language (Spanish). Foreign language students starting with Spanish from A0 level will therefore follow this study trajectory : 2RO181 – 2RO182 (possibly 2RO162 if 2RO182 is not open) – 2RO163 – 2RO164 – 2RO165 – 2RO166.

From 2RO132 onwards, Italian courses will be open to all students without distinction and taught in the target language (Italian).
