Paris Chamber of Commerce Examinations

On Wednesday 1/6/2022, the Paris Chamber of Commerce exams for the Diplôme de français professionnel (Certificate of Professional French) were held again at the VŠE. Five students from both the Master’s and Bachelor’s degree programmes took a total of four different types of exams: the DFP Affaires C1 (2 candidates), DFP Affaires B2 (1 candidate), DFP Relations internationales C1 (1 candidate) and DFP Tourisme B2 (1 candidate) – the latter two even had their premiere at the C1 and B2 level at the VŠE. As usual, the exam was held under the auspices of the French Institute and in cooperation with KROJ. In the written and oral part, the candidates solved very specific tasks from the professional environment: answering a complaint email from a customer, writing an advertising text or a professional report, presenting the history and results of a company to a Francophone delegation (DFP Affaires), creating a tour trailer, helping a guest in a restaurant to choose a suitable menu and drinks, presenting a monument in the role of a guide (DFP Tourisme), dealing with the authorities in a humanitarian crisis, writing a speech by a minister for the inauguration of an exhibition (DFP Relations internationales)… This year, thanks to the interest of the candidates in the different types and levels of exams, there were many topics and professional tasks.

The language competences for the above mentioned and many other tasks will be acquired in the courses 2RO301 and 2RO302 (Preparation for DFP Paris Chamber of Commerce 1 and 2 – B2) and 2RO404 (Preparation for DFP Paris Chamber of Commerce – C1) under the guidance of Mgr. Kateřina Dvořáková, Ph.D., MBA and PhDr. Dominika Kovářová, Ph.D., MBA.
